How to Order Prescription Drugs from our Website
Approval
To order prescription drugs online through our website (https://www.vetito.com/) (the “Website”), your purchase must be approved by a licensed veterinarian.
You may either hold an original prescription issued by a licensed veterinarian or have us get approval from the veterinarian on your behalf.
Online Ordering Process
During the online ordering process, once the products and quantities have been added to your shopping cart (“My Cart”), you will be asked to give us the contact details of the prescribing veterinarian. That way, we can easily and rapidly contact said veterinarian and request approval, in writing, of your purchase on the Website.
If you would rather contact the prescribing veterinarian yourself, you may elect this option during the checkout process. Ask the veterinarian to kindly send the approval to us by: (i) fax to our 24-hour order approval Toll-Free fax number

Ultimately, if you already have a valid prescription issued by a veterinarian, you may send us the original prescription by mail to:

Upon receipt of the veterinarian’s written approval or reception of your original prescription, we will immediately validate your order and start processing it. If the products and quantities you ordered are available, your order will be immediately placed in the order packing and shipping queue.
You will receive an automated email notification from Vetito when:
- Your order is completed and fully paid for;
- Your order is approved, in writing, by the veterinarian
or
we receive the original prescription by mail;
- Your order has been packed and shipped; and
- Your order is on its way and you can track it online.
Please note that you will also be asked to share your pet’s details during the checkout process before completing your purchase. Details include, without limitation, your pet’s name, type, gender, weight, birthday, medication currently prescribed, medical conditions (if any) and allergens.

On our Website all prescription drugs are marked with a “Prescription required” tag, which tag may be found on the product description page and on the My Cart page.
Veterinarian Approval Process
Once your order is completed and fully paid for, if you’ve shared the veterinarian details with us, our customer service team will contact the veterinarian directly asking for written approval of your purchase.
If you share the veterinarian’s fax number or email address with us, our system will send a fax or email to the veterinarian with the approval request.
Our customer service team will use reasonable efforts to actively pursue the approval status for your purchase by contacting the veterinarian. However, if we are unable to get a response from the veterinarian within 7 calendar days from the date your order was completed and fully paid for, we will end the contacting process and inform you by email asking you for further instructions on how to proceed with your order.
Your options will be:
- To request us to continue to wait for the veterinarian to send us written approval of your purchase;
- To contact the veterinarian directly yourself with a reminder that the approval needs to be sent to us; or

Original Prescription Validation Process
If you are sending the original prescription to us by mail, please do not forget to add your Vetito order number by clearly writing it on the prescription.
If we do not receive the original prescription from you within 7 days from the date your order was completed and fully paid for, we will contact you by email correspondence in order to remind you to send us the original prescription by mail.
Pending Orders
All orders that are awaiting validation are marked with the status “Approval”. There is no maximum time frame for an order pending approval. An order will not be cancelled unless expressly canceled by you, in writing. For more information on how to cancel an order, see below: “Cancellations & Refunds”.
